Abstract
Dans le cadre de recherches portant sur la méthodologie à travers l’usage du numérique, Mouloud Boukala, professeur à l’École des médias, Faculté de communication de Université du Québec à Montréal, a conduit en mai 2019 un entretien avec Serge Proulx. Sociologue et professeur émérite à l’École des médias, Serge Proulx est l’auteur, le co-auteur ou le directeur d’une trentaine d’ouvrages sur la communication, la technologie et la société. Ses travaux concernent les mutations des dispositifs d’information et de communication à l’ère numérique, en particulier les innovations et les contributions des usagers dans le contexte du capitalisme informationnel. Au sortir d’une réflexion critique et méthodologique sur l’ensemble des travaux menés lors de sa carrière, Serge Proulx prône une politique des méthodes à l’heure de la transition numérique et montre les conséquences politiques des choix méthodologiques en sciences sociales.
