chercheur indépendant en histoire, co-fondateur de La Boîte à histoire.À l'occasion de la refonte des galeries permanentes du Musée national de l'histoire de l'immigration, dont les travaux du comité scientifique présidé par Patrick Boucheron ont débuté en 2018, un nouveau chantier a porté sur les affiches de luttes de l'immigration.Sorties des réserves du Musée, elles ont fait l'objet d'une analyse historique. 1 Réveiller un fonds qui dortConstitué à partir de différentes acquisitions de collections privées, notamment de l'artiste Jean Attali, entre 2006 et 2011, ce fonds compte aujourd'hui plusieurs dizaines d'affiches et a été enrichi en novembre 2018 par la collection de Mehdi Lalaoui.En son sein, à côté d'affiches publicitaires et d'affiches racistes, véhiculant des imaginaires coloniaux ou des slogans politiques racistes, dans une période antérieure à celle des années 1970, se détache la thématique des luttes pour la défense des populations immigrées, de leurs droits et contre le racisme.La plupart de ces affiches, bien que certaines soient antérieures ou postérieures, furent réalisées durant les « Années 68 », qui s'étendent de 1962, c'est-à-dire la fin de la Guerre d'indépendance algérienne, jusqu'à 1981, année de l'accession de la gauche à la présidence de la République.
