Abstract
L’article porte sur lesÉlémens de la grammaire françoisede Charles-François Lhomond, publiés en 1780. Il s’intéresse aux sources de ce texte qui a connu un immense succès, sans même avoir innové sur le plan conceptuel. Il s’agit donc d’établir quels modèles ont servi à Lhomond. L’article expose d’abord quelles filiations explicites existent entre Lhomond et la tradition grammaticale. Il se penche ensuite sur le texte desÉlémenspour y déceler les filiations non déclarées par Lhomond. L’étude se concentre sur la définition des parties du discours.
