Abstract
"The city of Montreal has been my second home for the last six years, and indeed for a much longer time for all the participant artists. This project arises from that ongoing experience of interaction with the city. Yet, it is not about the city as a conglomerate of soundmarks or stereotyped symbolic elements - it does not aime of making a sound portrait or a representation creation. My proposal to all the participating artists involved in the project was to foresee the city - both outdoors and indoors, both the public and the private spaces- as a constantly changing generator of sound matter." - page 2 of the interior booklet of the CD.
