Abstract
Depuis les années 1920 au moins, la communication publicitaire a pris l’habitude de recourir à la sexualité, sous une forme plus ou moins explicite, pour stimuler l’acte d’achat. Or, avec les stéréotypes sexués ou sexistes, c’est la représentation des rapports sociaux de sexe qui se joue à travers la communication des entreprises. L’auteure propose une mise au jour des résistances qui freinent les évolutions du secteur ainsi qu’un état des lieux des rapports de force entre associations féministes et instances de régulation pour la mise en œuvre de cette régulation.
