Abstract
Los recientes proyectos de reacondicionamiento de los intercambiadores que se han llevado a cabo en un tramo urbano denso de la region metropolitana de Quebec (Canada) han permitido aplicar varios avances innovadores, especialmente en relacion a las balsas de retencion de aguas superficiales tradicionales. En un contexto en el que las obras de retencion estan muy colonizadas por plantas exoticas invasoras, se han seleccionado criterios de diseno especificos para reducir la invasion de las zonas de dominio vial. Dado que los medios humedos son escasos y que se ha producido una homogeneizacion de los paisajes del medio urbano, el Ministerio de Transporte de Quebec ha realizado un esfuerzo para poner de relieve estos elementos en sus proyectos.
