Abstract
Sur ce territoire ravagé par les difficultés sociales, instruire est une priorité. Mais, comment modeler des adultes solidement ancrés dans des valeurs de tolérance et d’ouverture si la laïcité, la citoyenneté et la mixité sociale s’arrêtent aux portes du collège ? Les enseignants font un pari audacieux et exigeant en direction de leurs élèves : favoriser leur réussite par l’intégration des pratiques artistiques et culturelles au cœur de leur enseignement général. Il faut que l’école soit le lieu de l’ouverture (à soi-même, aux autres, au monde). S’instruire à l’art et par l’art, voilà ce qui attend désormais tout élève intégrant l’établissement.
