Sehubungan dengan pertumbuhan usaha dan bisnis yang meningkat di Jakarta membuat bertumbuhnya daya beli masyarakat kota Jakarta. Selain itu, kegiatan masyarakat kota Jakarta yang beragam membuat kebutuhan bangunan yang mampu menyediakan berbagai fasilitas. Menyikapi kedua faktor yang telah dijelaskan sebelumnya maka dibutuhkan bangunan pusat perbelanjaan yang digabung dengan ruang serbaguna menggunakan konstruksi baja. Material baja dipilih karena memiliki kekuatan yang tinggi serta beratnya ringan dibanding material beton. Sehingga memungkinkan untuk membuat struktur dengan bentang lebar karena material baja lebih ramping dan ringan dibanding material beton. Untuk itu dilakukan perancangan dengan bantuan aplikasi ETABS dan analisis struktur menurut peraturan yang berlaku yaitu SNI 1729:2015.
