Abstract
Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah Tujuan yang hendak dicapai dalam penelitian ini yaitu Untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengawasan terhadap efektivitas kerja pegawai pada Biro umum secretariat daerah Provinsi Papua. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif, yaitu penelitian yang bertujuan untuk menguraikan dan menggambarkan sifat-sifat (karakteristik) dari suatu keadaan atau objek penelitian yang dilakukan melalui pengumpulan data dan analisis data kuantitatif serta pengujian statistik. Penelitian ini Lokasi penelitian yaitu Biro umum Setda provinsi Papua yang berkedudukan di kantor Gubernur Provinsi papua. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 208 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan random sampling dengan jumlah 50% yaitu sebanyak 68 orang pegawai Biro Umum Setda Provinsi Papua. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik, regresi linier berganda, pengujian hipotesis. Hasil uji t untuk Variabel Konstanta = 0,725 artinya, apabila tidak memperhitungkan pengawasan (X), maka Efektifitas kerja (Y) nilainya tetap yang ditunjukkan oleh nilai konstanta sebesar 0,725. Koefisien Regresi X2 = 0,195 artinya, apabila pengawasan ditingkatkan sebesar satu-satuan , maka akan meningkatkan efektivitas kerja pada Biro Umum Sekretariat Daerah Provinsi Papua sebesar 0,195 dengan catatan variabel lainnya konstant/bernilai tetap, Hasil uji t untuk pengawasan (X2) diperoleh nilai t hitung = 2,033 dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,045. Dengan menggunakan batas signifikansi 0,05, didapat ttabel sebesar 1,66177. Ini berarti t hitung > t tabel, yang berarti Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Berarti secara parsial Variabel pengawasan mempunyai pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap efektivitas kerja. Kesimpulan Kedua variabel penelitian Berdasarkan hipotesis secara parsial (uji-t) dimana pengawasan mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap efektifitas kerja pegawai Biro umum Sekretariat Daerah Provinsi Papua. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari Hasil uji t untuk pengawasan (X) diperoleh nilai t hitung = 2,033 dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,045. Dengan menggunakan batas signifikansi 0,05, didapat ttabel sebesar 1,66177. Ini berarti t hitung > t tabel, yang berarti Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Berarti secara parsial Variabel pengawasan mempunyai pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap efektivitas kerja. Kata Kunci : Pengawasan, Efektivitas kerja.
