O Mestrado Profissional em Educacao Inclusiva em Rede Nacional (PROFEI) consolida-se em uma demanda elevada de aprimoramento profissional dos professores e gestores em todo o territorio nacional, no que se refere a formacao continuada em consonância com as politicas publicas de inclusao escolar e uso das Tecnologias Digitais de Informacao e Comunicacao (TDIC). O objetivo do programa e desenvolver processo formativo profissional que permita buscar meios para construir uma cultura para uma sociedade inclusiva, no sentido de que a escola realize metodologias inovadoras na perspectiva da Educacao Inclusiva, atendendo a diversidade de todos os estudantes, entre eles o publico-alvo da Educacao Especial (pessoas com deficiencia, transtornos globais do desenvolvimento, altas habilidades/superdotacao), populacao indigena, quilombola, do campo, diferentes generos e diversidade sexual, entre outros, possam aprimorar seu potencial, suas competencias e habilidades dentro do ambiente escolar e em seu proprio cotidiano, tanto no contexto social, familiar e profissional. Este artigo tem a finalidade de descrever o PROFEI, indicando sua estrutura de funcionamento, sua proposta pedagogica, seus recursos a serem empregados, a composicao e organizacao da sua rede de Instituicoes de Ensino Superior participantes e suas perspectivas de formacao.
