Abstract
Cette contribution rend compte d’une pratique de théâtre liée à l’usage de dialogues platoniciens dans la formation de l’acteur. À l’Accademia Teatro Dimitri (Tessin) où je travaille depuis quatre ans, cette méthode est insérée dans le cursus de Bachelor in Physical Theatre. L’objectif d’une telle formation est, entre autres, la création d’acteurs polymorphes, en mesure de gérer une ligne d’action verbale de façon autonome par rapport aux nombreuses et différentes possibilités qu’offre la ligne d’action physique. Bien que le travail sur Platon soit envisagé dans ce contexte comme un laboratoire pédagogique sans aucun objectif de production, il en sort parfois un matériau sous forme de spectacle1. Cette contribution concerne donc la question du jeu d’acteur (acting) et de son entrainement (training), mais aussi la mise en scène de textes conceptuels (directing).
