Dans ce texte de clôture au numéro thématique, nous donnons suite au premier bilan proposé dans l’article d’introduction, sous forme de prospective, en nous projetant vers l’avenir, avec quelques questions et défis qui nous semblent cruciaux pour consolider et continuer de développer les recherches participatives. Ces défis et questions issus d’une réflexion-bilan, ne correspondent qu’à une partie des nombreuses questions soulevées par les riches contributions réunies dans ce numéro. Nous portons également à l’attention du lecteur le fait que les articles- contributions à ce numéro thématique n’abordent que quelques-unes des nombreuses problématiques et questions qui résultent de toute tentative de bilan (forcément partiel) du désormais très mâture, dynamique et créatif domaine des recherches participatives.
