<sec> <title>Résumé</title> Le Programme d’aide préscolaire aux Autochtones dans les collectivités urbaines et nordiques (PAPACUN) est un programme d’intervention précoce financé par Santé Canada pour répondre aux besoins des enfants autochtones d’âge préscolaire et de leurs parents. L’étude pilote, fondée sur les principes de la recherche communautaire, a évalué un PAPA offert hors réserve en Alberta : globalement, les résultats des élèves ayant suivi un PAPA sont positifs. Cette phase préliminaire d’une étude longitudinale d’évaluation de tous les centres PAPA en Alberta a permis de formuler plusieurs recommandations, qui vont dans le sens de la poursuite de ce type d’évaluation tout en tentant de repousser les limites rencontrées lors de cette première phase (données disponibles, outils, contexte). </sec>
