Abstract
В статье предпринимается попытка видовой классификации произведений искусства, созданных мастерами Французской слободы Санкт-Петербурга в эпоху Петра Великого, на документах прослеживается участие французов в организации и выполнении художествен- ных работ. С помощью метода структурной систематизации, примененного к массиву данных о проектах, осуществленных мастерами слободы, было выяснено, что последние в большей степени реализовались в качестве декораторов. Мастера слободы внесли определяющий вклад в развитие монументально-декоративной и садово-парковой скульптуры в России, архитектуры интерьера и ландшафтного проектирования. Французам не было равных по объемам произ- веденных работ и по видовому разнообразию в декоративно-прикладном искусстве, при этом по своему значению и влиянию в архитектуре зданий они сильно уступали представителям немецкой и итальянской ветвей россики.
