Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Goal. To present the results of the selection of winter and spring barley varieties of the barley selection and seed production of PBGI-NCSCI in the conditions of climate change; analysis of the effectiveness of selected areas of breeding work to increase resistance to abiotic factors in different years of cultivation in the Southern Steppe and other ecological zones of Ukraine. Methods. Analytical, experimental field, statistical processing of the obtained results on a PC. Results. The results of the development of a new direction in barley selection are given — the creation of varieties of spring six-row barley for conditions of high-intensity agriculture Vakula, Helios, Halychanyn. The first results in the selection of varieties of bare winter barley as a valuable food crop on the example of the variety Present, which is the first variety of two-handed winter barley of naked type, obtained from crossing varieties Dostoinyi × BRL5GR (Canada). The naked two-handed variety Hordist Palmiry is on the state variety test now. Its average yield at the institute during the years of testing was 7.9 t/ha which excess of the indices of standard Dostoinyi by 1.6 t/ha (12.5%), and naked variety Present — by 2.4 t/ha (14.4%). The results of the variety testing of winter and spring barley varieties by years and zones of Ukraine are given. The dependence of drought resistance and precocity on yield stability over the years is analyzed. Promising varieties of winter use Skarb Palmiry, Hordist Palmiry, Hetman Sagaidachnyi, Alternno, and spring barley Nadiinyi are undergoing the state variety testing. Conclusions. As the climate in Ukraine changes, so do approaches to plant selection. The Department of Selection and Seed Production of Barley of PBGI-NCSCI has created many competitive varieties of winter and spring barley, capable of producing stable yields over the years. The results of ecological and state variety testing indicate the feasibility of introducing early and medium-ripe groups of varieties in terms of climate change not only in the Steppe but also in the Forest-Steppe zone of Ukraine.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
