Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Najnowsze badania realizowane w ramach projektu Narodowego Centrum Nauki (2016/23/N/ST10/01376), prowadzone w strefach polarnych obu biegunow: polnocnej Arktyki i poludniowej Antarktyki, wykazaly, ze TZO zostaly wykryte w 60% pobranych osadow dennych z tych rejonow. Long-range atmospheric transport of persistent organic pollutants – a new problem in the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic Abstract Last year, we celebrated the 40th anniversary of signing of the first international agreement, which has been intended to protect the environment, and human health against the effects of air pollution. The Long-range Transboundary Air Pollution Convention (LRTAP) was signed in Geneva on November 13,1979 as an initiative of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) by 32 countries of the UNECE region (including Poland). Persistent Organic Pollutants were issued in the separate Protocol to the Convention in 1998 as substances considered to be extremely hazardous to the environment. Once released from the source of origin (as by-products of many industrial and thermal processes), POPs are emitted into the atmosphere, and through atmospheric deposition or direct discharges, they enter surface waters. In 2010, at the meeting of the POPs Special Group of the Convention in Montreal, it has been agreed to exclude polar zones from the discussion, as they were classified as pristine, and not being impacted by industrial activities. The latest research carried out as part of the National Science Center grant (2016/23/N/ST10/01376) conducted in polar zones of the North and the South Poles – Arctic and Antarctic, revealed considerable POPs contamination in 60% of collected bottom sediments from both regions. The recent studies have indicated increasing air pollution with particulate matter particles of a diameter smaller than 2.5 micrometers (PM2.5), being a strong sorbent, and a carrier of toxic substances over long distances. This phenomenon has become extremely important for the protection of human health in times of pandemics and airborne transmitted pathogens.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
