Enquête quantitative sur les dispositifs de médiation numérique dans les arts de la scène au Québec

Abstract
Cet article rend compte des résultats d’une enquête quantitative sur la médiation culturelle et numérique conduite en 2019 auprès d’organismes actifs dans la production et la diffusion du théâtre, de la danse et du cirque. L’analyse des 164 questionnaires reçus révèle notamment un écart marqué entre la proportion d’organismes proposant de la médiation culturelle et celle d’organismes proposant de la médiation culturelle numérique. En dépit d’une pratique de médiation répandue et d’une présence enviable dans les médias sociaux, la plupart n’embauchent toujours pas de responsable de la médiation culturelle, numérique ou non, n’ont pas élaboré de stratégie numérique et rarement évalué leurs actions, ce qui pourrait expliquer le caractère relativement traditionnel des activités proposées. Il appert ainsi que les potentialités offertes par les outils de médiation, conventionnels ou numériques, et l’exploitation qui en est faite sont encore faiblement exploitées dans les milieux des arts de la scène au Québec.
