O objetivo do presente estudo é analisar e problematizar como a política de inclusão escolar aciona tecnologias de modulação das condutas dos sujeitos com deficiência. A analítica que sustenta a problematização foi desenvolvida a partir do conceito foucaultiano de governamento. Verifica-se, por meio de pesquisa documental, que os investimentos operacionalizados via programas governamentais para promover a inclusão escolar potencializam um quadro político, econômico e social em que os efeitos da exclusão passem a ser atenuados. Como tecnologia de modulação das condutas das pessoas com deficiência, a participação é uma das condições elementares para a promoção da autonomia; essa condição, segundo a política de inclusão escolar, desenvolve-se a partir da configuração de investimentos na promoção da participação e do desenvolvimento individual.
