Abstract
The Epic of «Manas» is the significant great spiritual heritage of Kyrgyz people. Masterpiece that wascreated many thousands years ago but nowadays it hasn’t lost its significance and has a great meaningfor modern society. Proverb says the place «Manas» sounds the Kyrgyz people are and where the Kyrgyzpeople the «Manas» Epos sounds. In the People’s Republic of China the contest of «Manas» singers tookplace that gathered a quarter of millions of Kyrgyz people living in China. In the present article historicalfacts of Aityshuu celebration devoted to the great Manas taken place in China in Kyrgyz Autonomy ofAkchiy, Karachiy province in 1917 are presented. The historical materials of this celebration are given inthe article and the famous Manas scientist Zhusup Mamay who made a great contribution to the studyingof phenomena «Manas» Epos.
