Abstract
Este trabajo refleja el perfil del adulto mayor para realizar actividades turísticas y los servicios complementarios que deben presentar condiciones de recreación para satisfacer las necesidades de un grupo social en igualdad de condiciones para viajar, pero en escases de calidad en la atención a la memoria de trabajo. La oferta tentativa enfrenta a un grupo de jubilados con los bienes, servicios, productos y procesos turísticos decadentes en el cumplimiento de obligaciones y la escasa asistencia de estrategias de apoyo y ayuda a este grupo vulnerable inclusive para instituciones públicas. Las operadoras de turismo tienen el reto de generar e innovar alternativas para identificar intenciones, deseos, preferencias en viajes nacionales y fuera del Ecuador, este grupo cuenta con tiempo libre para diferentes actividades recreativas, la lógica de asimilación en turismo especializado en el adulto mayor, enfocado en individuos sobre los 60 años que disfrutan de experiencias llenos de vitalidad, conocimientos, habilidades y valores emocionales se debe aprovechar para canalizar la asistencia al mercado del adulto mayor. Este estudio exploratorio, descriptivo fue diseñado con metodología cualitativa de investigación, instrumentando la recolección de información, la muestra fue determinado por hombres y mujeres jubilados de la región del litoral en la provincia de Los Ríos.
