Abstract
Поширення топосу Богоспасаємого граду вписуються в теорію ієротопії, тобто сакральних просторів, в яких побутує реальна присутність Бога, невіддільна від чудотворності. Автор розглядає випадки використання цього топосу в рукописних і друкованих джерелах на прикладі Луцька й Острога – міст, що були одними з найбільших на Волині релігійними центрами, столицями Луцької і Острозької єпархії Київської митрополії. Якщо сакралізації Острога сприяла його слава як центру Волинських Афін зі знеменитою Академією та друкарнею, місця видання біблійних текстів, серед яких виокремлюється знаменита Біблія, то сакралізація Луцька може пов’язуватись з діяльністю Хрестовоздвиженського братства, а також численних монастирів і храмів. Автор припускає, що поширення топосу Богоспасаємого граду на ряд міст вело до формування своєрідного національного культурно-релігійного коду, який об’єднував українців і білорусів. Водночас, відбувалася сакралізація міст, і не тільки столичного характеру.
