Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

In this letter, a new wideband dielectric-loaded TM 01 -TE 11 mode converter is proposed. It is shown that a new hexagon metallic sheet (HMS) placed in the middle of a circular waveguide has a lower reflection of the TM 01 mode compared to a rectangular metallic sheet. Using such HMS in the structure of dielectric-loaded TM 01 -TE 11 mode converters can enhance the operational bandwidth significantly. Four cases of mode converters with/without the HMS are designed and evaluated. The results demonstrate a noticeable bandwidth enhancement for the structure with HMS. Using the proposed structure, an excellent operational bandwidth of 25.4% is achieved. The proposed mode converters were 3-D printed and the mode conversion was verified by measuring the far-field radiation patterns.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
