Chloé Delaume est souvent décrite comme féministe, mais peu de chercheur.euse.s font l’analyse directe de cet aspect de son œuvre, du moins, jusqu’à la publication de Les Sorcières de la République (2016) et Mes bien chères sœurs (2019), deux textes – un roman et un manifeste – où le féminisme passe au premier plan. En juxtaposant ces deux ouvrages au tout premier, Les Mouflettes d’Atropos (2002 [2000]), cet essai examinera le féminisme – et son évolution – aux deux extrêmes chronologiques des écrits de Delaume. Il démontrera comment le féminisme chez Delaume progresse d’un point de vue qui se concentre sur une seule femme et sa vie à un point de vue qui favorise le féminisme « sororal », de masse, et des conseils précis de l’autrice pour progresser et changer la société.
