Supercontinuum Generation in Suspended Core As<sub>2</sub>S<sub>3</sub> Tapered Fiber

Abstract
We report the first supercontinuum source using a tapered microstructured As <sub xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</sub> S <sub xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">3</sub> fiber by pumping at a wavelength of 1.938 μm. The all-fiber source leads to a supercontinuum spanning from 1.50 μm to 2.65 μm with an average power of 14.5 mW.
