Abstract
L’absence de la magie et de la sorcellerie dans des bandes pygmées ou des communes hippy aux institutions informelles et aux idéologies indéfinissables fait penser que la confiance placée (pour le meilleur et pour le pire) dans l’efficacité automatique du recours à des formules et du matériel symboliques aurait surtout lieu dans des sociétés complexes aux divisions structurelles et aux spéculations systématisées.
