Cet article étudie l’incidence de la convergence ou de la divergence des perceptions du temps sur les formes de coopérations développées. La temporalité n’est pas étudiée ici d’un point de vue objectif, mais subjectif. Les formes de coopérations sont de deux types : communautaire (liée à l’identification de l’individu au groupe) et complémentaire (basée sur la concordance des intérêts individuels). Nous analysons le regroupement de deux unités médicales d’un hôpital par une étude de cas longitudinale. Cette recherche montre qu’une convergence des temporalités aboutirait à une coopération communautaire, tandis qu’une divergence débouchera sur une coopération complémentaire.
