Paroles sur le vif d'une crivaine-traductrice La carrire de Marie Darrieussecq dbute en 1996, chez P.O.L, avec un premier roman Truismes qui connat un succs immdiat, alors que son auteure a 27 ans. Gravitant autour du genre romanesque, l'oeuvre se dploie depuis une vingtaine d'annes travers des contres gnriques plurielles, pour explorer ce que la littrature n'a pas encore dit, tel que l'advenue la parentalit (Le Bb, 2002), l'veil sexuel d'une adolescente des annes 1980 (Clves), les divergences interculturelles cristallises autour d'un couple mixte (Il faut beaucoup aimer les hommes).
