Abstract
La nécessité de porter un regard critique sur les recherches en psychologie est incontournable. Ce regard sur les études est possible par l’entremise de certaines connaissances sur les méthodologies en recherche, en saisissant bien les pours et les contres des méthodes prescrites par la recherche en termes de validité et de fidélité. Outre le plaisir que l’on peut trouver face à l’analyse de certaines études, il est d’autant plus essentiel de porter attention à des courants qui semblent anodins à première vue, mais qui ont pour but d’orienter et de structurer la recherche en psychologie. Ces courants « souterrains » de la psychologie agissent continuellement sur le flux d’études qui nous est accessible et ils sont, en quelque sorte, la clé qui nous permet d’accéder à une compréhension plus riche de la recherche en psychologie.
