Abstract
The purpose of the study is to identify specific features of the current language situation in the Canadian province of Ontario and the adopted language policy. The work is carried out within the framework of the research “Language in the Multi-ethnic State” developed by the Institute of Linguistics of the Russian Academy of Sciences using material of multi-ethnic counties. A comprehensive analysis of the functioning of languages in various fields of communication in this province has never been a subject of special investigation, and this constitutes scientific novelty of the work, which established a systematisation procedure for the factors defining interaction between components of the language situation and the language policy. The analysis of the functioning of the languages used by the province population in various fields of communication has allowed the author to determine the general picture of the language situation in Ontario. The attained results have shown that the Ontarian language policy aims not only to support the official English language but also to conserve and promote languages of the ethnic minorities - the autochthone and the francophone communities.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from it
