Abstract
La réalisatrice et scénariste Jihane Chouaib revient, après une longue absence, à la terre de ses parents qu’elle a quittée durant la guerre. Elle revisite le Liban Sud dont elle est originaire, puis se balade avec sa soeur, adepte de la danse, dans les lieux qui ont marqué son enfance. Ses pérégrinations sont teintées de nostalgie et de souvenirs doux-amers. Elle croise son itinéraire avec celui du dramaturge libano-canadien, Wajdi Moawad, de la réalisatrice et journaliste-photographe, Katia Jarjoura, et du réalisateur franco-libanais, Patric Chiha. Pour tous ces immigrants, le Liban est un pays rêvé que Jihane Chouaib ressuscite par son regard et son commentaire poétique.
