Abstract
Une généralisation du modèle d’allocation du temps de Gary Becker (supposant un coût d’opportunité du temps endogène) permet d’explorer la substitution des dépenses monétaires et des temps alloués par les ménages provoquée par des modifications importantes de leur revenu, en période de forte expansion ou de récession. Cette analyse définit un multiplicateur positif de revenu et un diviseur négatif des temps alloués à la production domestique, et permet d’explorer un fondement microéconomique possible de la loi d’Okun ainsi qu’une diminution de l’effet négatif des récessions sur le bien-être des ménages.
