Abstract
L’année 2020 marque le 20e anniversaire du dépôt du rapport Arpin sur le patrimoine au Québec qui proposait une définition intégrant le concept de patrimoine immatériel. Ce texte rend compte des réflexions menées au sein de la Société québécoise d’ethnologie, du ministère de la Culture et, plus précisément, de la genèse du concept d’économuséologie qui est expressément fondé sur la mise en valeur du patrimoine immatériel in situ.
