Depuis des générations, le peuple Inuit brave le climat du Groenland, terre polaire hostile. Habitué aux mutations constantes de leur environnement, leur capacité d’adaptation est grande et les conditions extrêmes n’entravent pas l’évolution de ce peuple résilient. Cependant, la modernisation rapide et l’ouverture au monde extérieur fragilisent l’équilibre d’une société groenlandaise en quête d’identité. Ce phénomène de mondialisation brutale bouleverse les perspectives et ouvre le chemin d’une réflexion indépendantiste et protectionniste. Les modifications du climat réinterrogent les pratiques et suscitent un engouement international non sans conséquences.
