Abstract
Fruit d’un projet pilote d’un an en milieu de soins palliatifs pour adultes au Québec, cet article explore le thème de la transmission subjective qui peut avoir lieu par l’intermédiaire du jeu pour une personne en fin de vie. Des vignettes cliniques tirées du journal de bord des artistes clowns accompagnant des patientes et patients en fin de vie sont utilisées pour décrire leur expérience de la relation avec les patients ainsi que les formes de narrativité à l’oeuvre dans le contexte spécifique d’une visite clownesque en soins palliatifs. En quoi la visite du clown thérapeutique permet-elle le partage de réflexions existentielles, de craintes, d’apprentissages et de dimensions de l’identité propre de la personne? Ce qui se raconte et se transmet en présence du duo clownesque semble renouveler les manières d’entrer en relation en autorisant l’humour, parfois le rire, mais surtout la transposition par la métaphore de thèmes importants pour la patiente ou le patient et ses proches.
