Abstract
AvessoPuisque à partir de 1979 l'homosexualité a été sévèrement punie par le gouvernement iranien, cet article s'intéresse à tracer un profil historique du désir homosexuel en Iran afin d'en expliquer sa progressive répression.En analysant comment la question homosexuelle illustre la relation et les tensions entre sexualité, société et état en Iran, la recherche vise à appliquer les thèses de Michel Foucault et de Joseph Massad pour examiner le développent de modèles sociaux au sein desquels différentes pratiques ou identités sexuelles sont jugées acceptables ou non.En définitive, ce travail montre comment l'analyse de l'homosexualité en Iran décrit un conflit à la fois identitaire et politique entre les canons de sexualité occidentale et les dynamiques de la société iranienne.Après avoir présenté la notion de Foucault de sexualité et les observations de Massad concernant l'homosexualité dans les pays du Moyen-Orient, l'article offre une perspective historique du contexte iranien aux niveaux socioculturels et juridico-politique par rapport à l'homosexualité.Enfin, une périodisation de l'histoire iranienne est formulée en utilisant l'homosexualité en tant que dispositif historique, mettant donc en contexte les changements des attitudes de la société et de l'état iraniens dans le cadre interprétatif foucaultien.La périodisation proposée confirme que l'évolution de la question homosexuelle en Iran est strictement liée au processus d'influence des pratiques et des idéologies occidentales dans les pays non-occidentaux.
