Abstract
The article is devoted to the formation history and main characteristics of the ethnic group of the Bashkirs in the territory of Tashkent and its environs in the period before the start of the national-state demarcation in Central Asia. This complex process is examined through the prism of a number of historical events. The presence of the Bashkirs among the multinational population of Tashkent is confirmed in various sources, including the censuses of 1897 and 1926. The names of many famous personalities from among the Bashkirs, whose activities took place here, are revealed. The conclusion is substantiated that the Bashkirs in Turkestan played an important role as mediators in the implementation of new ideological principles.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from it
