Cette nouvelle publication constitue à la fois un travail d’archéologie, de mémoire et de diffusion portant sur l’expérience accumulée par les enseignants depuis de nombreuses années, en relation avec les travaux de recherches contemporains en didactique des APS. Aussi, ce quatrième tome, qui s’inscrit dans la continuité de nos précédents ouvrages édités aux Presses universitaires de Franche-Comté, résulte du travail collectif mené par le « Groupe de Recherche sur l’Intervention dans les Activités Physiques et Sportives » (GRIAPS) de l’IUFM (aujourd’hui ESPE) de l’Université de Franche-Comté, autour de la problématique de l’enseignement des sports collectifs à l’école. Dans ce quatrième volet, l’équipe de recherche du GRIAPS, étoffée par des collaborateurs extérieurs, s’intéresse aux propositions sur l’intelligence tactique en sports collectifs et son développement. Les contributions couvrent un spectre large : comptes rendus de pratique professionnelle, rapports de recherches, contributions théoriques prospectives concernant les principaux sports collectifs enseignés à l’école en France ou au Canada. Comme les précédents ouvrages, c’est à la fois un livre de vulgarisation scientifique en didactique et un manuel professionnel et pédagogique.
