Abstract
Dans son livre sur Le roi René et la seconde maison d’Anjou, Christian de Mérindol fait converger trois disciplines qu’on a habituellement tendance à étudier séparément. Me situant dans une perspective analogue, j’étudierai deux médailles de René d’Anjou qui font appel à l’histoire du théâtre et spécialement à l’histoire de la mauresque, une forme de danse très appréciée à sa cour.
