De CO2-emissie van de Nederlandse glastuinbouw in 2020 is geraamd op 6,0 Mton en zou daarmee1,4 Mton boven de CO2-emissieruimte voor 2020 liggen. Door toename van het areaal en de verkoopvan elektriciteit ligt de geraamde CO2-emissie boven de bovengrens van de bandbreedte. Dit betekentdat de convenantspartijen kunnen besluiten om een mogelijke nieuwe technische correctie van deCO2-emissieruimte van de glastuinbouw voor 2020 door te voeren.
