Les codes vestimentaires mis en place dans les écoles du Québec au nom de la lutte contre l’hypersexualisation des jeunes sont aujourd’hui dénoncés pour leur sexisme par nombre d’élèves. À partir d’une analyse des textes parus de 2016 à 2018 dans les médias francophones à propos du mouvement de contestation des codes vestimentaires à l’école, appelé « mouvement des carrés jaunes », l’auteure examine les enjeux de représentation et de résistance des filles qui protestent. Elle montre que ces dernières troublent les normes de genre qui, au croisement de celles de l’âge, encadrent leur agentivité non seulement sexuelle mais également politique.
