“Queo a minha Shela, queo os amigos”: refletir o isolamento social de bebés em tempos de pandemia, na base de uma experiência vivida em Portugal

Abstract
“Queo a minha Shela, queo os amigos”, a afirmação da Madalena a afirmar a sua vontade em voltar à creche que, em tempo normais, frequenta, introduz o texto que pretendemos apresentar sobre o ‘isolamento social’ de bebés em tempos de pandemia. O relato de famílias sobre como as crianças dos 0 aos 3 anos têm vivenciado estes tempos de afastamento, bem como o que nos contam educadoras sobre como foi feito o acompanhamento a distância e acerca do seu regresso às instituições, ajudam-nos a refletir na importância das creches como espaço educativo, particularmente como fórum de socialização, realçando a relevância da corresponsabilização educativa entre pais e profissionais de educação. Iniciaremos por um enquadramento sobre as finalidades das creches e o panorama geral traduzido pela baixa cobertura desta valência em Portugal, mostrando que há bebés que podem estar em risco de isolamento mesmo em tempos de não-covid. Na segunda parte do texto, valorizando as narrativas de experiência como recurso informativo e formativo, e, ao mesmo tempo, como registo histórico de um tempo inusitado, trazemos para análise a descrição do processo desenvolvido numa creche, procurando aferir o que manifestam as crianças e as oportunidades colaborativas entre pais e educadores em torno do que entendemos como educação de infância emancipatória.
