Abstract
Dans nos sociétés contemporaines où l’individu est confronté à des exigences de performance et d’adaptabilité, et où l’idéal démocratique perdure, qu’en est-il des personnes faisant l’objet de racisme en milieu de travail ? Quelle parole leur donne-t-on ou comment cette parole se donne-t-elle ? Les milieux organisés se doivent de montrer des positions d’équité envers leurs employés, soutenant ainsi un idéal démocratique où chacun aurait les mêmes droits et libertés. Pour autant, les rapports de domination et d’oppression persistent. Parallèlement, dans ces milieux, le sujet affronte l’injonction implicite d’être efficace et autonome pour rester productif. Le sujet devient responsable de son intégration au sein du collectif et a la responsabilité de vivre « bien » ensemble au sein du milieu de travail. Notre article interroge l’autocensure des personnes faisant l’objet de racisme et ne pouvant le dire au risque de paraître improductives. Notre méthodologie de recherche révèle une clinique de l’interculturalité comme approche d’intervention interculturelle.
