Abstract
Revisão narrativa da literatura sobre o uso da terapia com LEGO ® como forma de intervenção em crianças e adolescentes com o transtorno do espectro autista (TEA).O estudo incluiu uma busca em bases de dados eletrônicas e livros apresentando a técnica de intervenção e o contexto de seu surgimento, o método terapêutico e seus resultados.A maioria dos estudos identificados relatam melhorias significativas no comportamento social, linguagem, coordenação motora e comunicação após a intervenção com a terapia LEGO ® .De forma geral, o LEGO ® foi citado por permitir múltiplas estratégias de intervenção, como por exemplo: permitir seu uso em conjunto com meios tecnológicos como robôs e interfaces digitais.De acordo com os dados encontrados, a terapia com LEGO ® favorece a interação e o trabalho em equipe por meio de uma variedade de estratégias com efeitos positivos no desenvolvimento de habilidades prejudicadas em crianças com TEA.
