Abstract
Intégrer le marketing à la médiation culturelle : un modèle d’archivistique ouverte. Cet article expose les principaux problèmes qui font obstacle à l’exploitation des archives et propose de les résoudre dans un nouveau cadre méthodologique, celui de l’archivistique ouverte, dont les principes et l’architecture conceptuelle sont partiellement issus du domaine du marketing. Il développe ensuite les raisons pour lesquelles l’industrie de la publicité offre un terrain idéal pour expérimenter les solutions à ces problèmes. Il présente enfin les grandes lignes d’une initiative de recherche menée en ce sens à l’université Laval, et qui se déploie dans un ensemble de projets en cours. L’article se termine par la description de l’un de ces projets, qui concerne les archives de la principale agence de publicité au Canada, et dont les résultats préliminaires tendent à confirmer le potentiel de l’archivistique ouverte.
