Abstract
Les migrants sont frequemment invites a s’integrer. Mais, dans la realite, en ont-ils la possibilite ? Quelles sont les politiquesdefinies par les Etats membres de l’Union europeenne pour permettre a l’integration d’avoir lieu ? Et ces politiques sont-elles vraiment lesbonnes ? C’est pour apporter des reponses a ces questions que le Migration Policy Group et le British Council ont concu le Migrant Integration Policy Index (Mipex),l'etude comparative la plus vaste jamais consacree a la politique d’integration des vingt-cinq pays de l’Union europeenne, de la Suisse, de laNorvege et du Canada. Les principaux partenaires de recherche sont l'Universite de Sheffield et l'Universite libre de Bruxelles. La Fondation Roi Baudouin1, partenairebelge du projet, organisait ce 4 juin un colloque sur le sujet.
