Les conceptions de l’injustice des personnes itinérantes montréalaises judiciarisées

Abstract
Cet article s’intéresse à la perception qu’ont les personnes itinérantes de leur judiciarisation, soit le fait d’entrer dans le système judiciaire suite à la réception de constats d’infraction. Elle entraîne différents effets négatifs sur la vie de ces personnes, bien au-delà de la dette judiciaire. Ainsi, toutes vivent de l’injustice mais ne l’expriment pas de la même manière et leur expérience de la judiciarisation et des conséquences qu’elle occasionne accentue des dénis de reconnaissance (Honneth, 2000). Basée sur 29 entrevues réalisées à Montréal auprès de personnes itinérantes, cette recherche permet d’établir quatre conceptions de l’injustice vécue en raison de la judiciarisation.
