Abstract
Cet article analyse, à travers une approche ethnographique, la participation citoyenne dans un projet de sécurisation alimentaire qui s’est développé sur dix ans dans un quartier défavorisé à Montréal (Canada). Le “ Système alimentaire pour tous ” est un projet qui promeut l’accès digne à une alimentation saine pour tous. Il se caractérise par l’implication de personnes en situation d’exclusion sociale et de pauvreté, à côté de praticiens et de chercheurs. Nous examinons la place et le rôle des citoyens depuis les premières actions spontanées jusqu’à la mise en place d’un système alimentaire multidimensionnel. Nous discutons des résultats sous l’angle de leur apport pour la transformation de la lutte contre l’insécurité alimentaire, le développement du pouvoir d’agir et pour une perspective globale de l’alimentation.
