Abstract
Las empresas hoteleras cubanas buscan la excelencia en los servicios; por ello es fundamental desarrollar valores alineados a la estrategia organizacional. Esta investigacion indaga en el nivel de desarrollo alcanzado por las cinco dimensiones necesarias para la gestion de una estrategia de valores en una empresa hotelera perteneciente a Islazul S.A. Se diagnostica el nivel de desarrollo de los valores en el equipo de direccion y se realiza un analisis comparativo desde dos perspectivas: individual y grupal. Mediante encuestas, entrevistas y analisis documental, se expresa un alto desarrollo de los valores, principalmente en la dimension grupal, y un nivel medio de interes en la direccion. Teniendo en cuenta estos resultados se propone una estrategia de valores negociable, asi como las acciones para su implementacion. Cuban hotel companies seek excellence in services; therefore, it is essential to develop values aligned with the organizational strategy. This research investigates the level of development reached by the five dimensions necessary for the management of a strategy of values in a hotel company belonging to Islazul S.A. The level of values development in the management team is diagnosed and a comparative analysis is made from two perspectives: individual and group. Through surveys, interviews and documentary analysis, a high development of values is shown, mainly in the group dimension, and an average level of interest from the management. These results are taken into account to propose a negotiable values strategy, as well as actions for its implementation.
