FORÇAS EM LUTA: BACHELARD E NIETZSCHE NA GEOGRAFIA DE ÉRIC DARDEL

Abstract
Desde a publicação, em 2011, da tradução de O Homem e a Terra: natureza da realidade geográfica, escrita pelo geógrafo francês Éric Dardel, o livro recebeu uma rápida difusão na comunidade geográfica. Uma das mais excitantes questões abertas para investigação é a multiplicidade de influências filosóficas que compõe a geografia dardeliana. O argumento defendido neste texto é que sua geografia fenomenológico-existencial, reconhecidamente de inspiração heideggeriana, também sofreu fortes influências da fenomenologia da imaginação de Gaston Bachelard. Além disso, sustenta-se que o princípio das “forças em luta”, o qual caracteriza o dinamismo da realidade geográfica de Dardel, advém de noções fundamentais da filosofia de Friedrich W. Nietzsche, via Bachelard. No esforço interpretativo expresso neste trabalho, o encontro entre Dardel e Nietzsche se estabeleceu, indiretamente, via os sentidos de terra e de vontade de potência. O objetivo deste artigo é perseguir essas pistas e nexos, buscando enriquecer as leituras contemporâneas e as aberturas oferecidas pela geografia dardeliana.
