Abstract
一、2003年以来伊拉克国家图书馆和档案馆 2003年4月10和12日，就在萨达姆政权倒台后不久，伊拉克国家图书馆和档案馆（Iraq National Library and Archives，注：像世界上一些国家图书馆和档案馆一样，例如加拿大国家图书馆和档案馆（Library and Archives Canada），伊拉克国家图书馆和档案馆是两馆合一）经受了两次大火的洗礼，档案资料损失60％、珍本图书损失95％、手稿损失25％。当年新上任的馆长萨德·伊斯康德（Saad Eskander）除了获得各国图书馆及不同组织的捐赠外，带领全馆人员经过三年多努力，终于在2006年12月使得该馆得以开放。人们对于伊拉克国家图书馆和档案馆的重新开放感到惊喜的同时不免也有一丝担忧。
